Kubota SE Series Mulchers

The Kubota SE1001 Series is small, light, and easy to operate and maintain. The standard roller and mechanical offset are robust, and the rotor is accurately balanced for consistently smooth running. 

The core of the SE1001 Series is the rotor: high speeds (1993 rpm) in combination with a huge number of flail blades (80 on the SE1151 and 96 on the SE1181) make the SE1001 a unique and powerful chopping machine. 

The SE1001 Series has a convenient mechanical offset as standard: the headstock can be fitted in the centre or on the left side of the chopping unit to provide a versatile offset to the right of the tractor, to enhance working efficiency and safety. 

The SE1001 Series is equipped with a rear roller as standard, which allows for reliable depth control in all working conditions. The bearings are easily accessed for maintenance and the housing is replaceable. A pair of skids is available as an option. 

The SE2000P Series is easy to maintain, with minimal greasing points in combination with a hydraulic accumulator on the telescopic arm to protect against damage. 

The core of the SE2000P Series is the powerful high-performance, high-speed rotor and huge number of tools (14 hammer blades per metre). 

Heavily tested in the laboratory (by shaking) to simulate extreme working operations, the SE2000P Series square 120 x 120 mm tube is the basis of the headstock. The arc-bend design guarantees excellent torsion stress, and a strong welding process ensures high resistance against stress from intensive use. 

The standard SE2000P Series roller ensures easy adjustment of working depth in any conditions, has a diameter of 195 mm, is self-cleaning and has an integrated bearing. 

The tough SE2000P gearbox with internal freewheel and 5 drive belts with automatic tensioner ensures smooth and reliable power transmission to the rotor at all times. 

The SE2000P transmission can handle up to 130 PTO hp, with 2 lateral pulleys that drive 5 belts. A spring-loaded automatic tensioner ensures stable rotor motion. The double-wide angle PTO shaft is standard, for optimal performance and comfort. 

Thanks to its solid construction, double skin as standard, and nylon plate in the sliding guide rail, the SE3000 Series promises a long lifetime with minimal maintenance. 

The core of the SE3000 Series is the rotor: the high speed (max. 2243 rpm) in combination with the double counter knife and double skin guarantee an excellent shredding effect and efficient power use. 

The SE3000 Series frame is low, compact and rounded, but sturdy enough for heavy-duty applications. The robust headstock design is taken from choppers of higher class for a “family” look, while the 3-point linkage sits close to the tractor, for efficient lift power and maximum field manoeuvrability. 

The SE3000 Series 160 mm diameter rear roller is standard, and the balanced design supports a constant working depth in all conditions. 

The SE3000 gearbox delivers up to 80 PTO hp, with a PTO speed drive of 540 rpm. The 5 V-belts with spring-loaded automatic tensioner ensure stable rotor transmission, and the lateral drive – protected by a tough, smooth cover – provides high protection for orchard vegetation. 

The SE3000 series comes standard with a mechanical offsett. Hydraulic offsett is also available as an option.

The SE4000 Series has a solid double-skin construction for long working life and minimal maintenance. The central gearbox guarantees a smooth drive, and reduced wear and tear across the whole driveline. 

The core of the SE4000 Series is the rotor: the strong, large diameter 219 x 8 mm tube ensures easy, precise balancing and smooth running without vibration. Hammer blades are fitted as standard and the rotor is dynamically balanced in the factory during assembly. 

The SE4000 Series heavy-duty headstock has been tested in challenging situations and provides maximum reliability. The double headstock also allows for front and rear mounting options. 

The SE4000 Series comes ready with standard roller equipment for reliable depth control in all conditions. The diameter is 160 mm, and the series has a 45 mm integrated bearing hub and greaseable ball bearings. The bearing housing is replaceable and interchangeable via skid. 

The SE4000 Series gearbox can take PTO tractor input of 540 or 1000 rpm, by inverting the belt pulleys to keep the rotor rpm constant. The central gearbox provides up to 140 PTO hp with integrated freewheel as standard. The 5 V-belts and automatic tensioner ensure smooth transmission and prevent slippage in tough working conditions. No belt maintenance is required. 

The SE4000 Series comes standard with 2 U-counter knives for more intense shredding in heavy conditions. The double skin provides extra protection during even the toughest conditions. 

There is also an option for front depth wheels. These can be fitted as a kit to the machine to aid in precise depth control and this also gives the ability to carry some of the weight of the machine during working.

The SE5000 Series has a solid double-skin construction for long working life and minimal maintenance. 

The 540 mm diameter rotor is based on a strong 245 x 10 mm tube, and comes standard for both hammers and universal blades. The combination of width and speed promise excellent cut with lower power requirement. 

The SE5000 Series headstock is designed and tested for heavy applications, and the trusty Kubota “family” look is taken from our power harrow design. The sliding tube is integrated into the headstock, and all stress forces are concentrated on the 3-point linkage. The 520 mm hydraulic offset is standard. 

The SE5000 Series central gearbox delivers up to 160 PTO hp with an integrated freewheel as standard. PTO tractor input can be 540 or 1000 rpm, by inverting the belt pulleys to keep the rotor rpm constant. The 5 V-belts combined with an automatic tensioner ensure smooth transmission and prevent slippage in tough working conditions. 

Double counter knifes and the durable double-skin construction allow for finer shredding, better residues and a longer frame life. 

The SE6000 Series has a robust frame, and the sliding tube integrated into the headstock means no or low maintenance and a long working life in all conditions.

The Kubota SE8000 Series has a double lateral transmission with 4 high-grade belts driving the rotor on each side of the mulcher. External and centralised rotor greasing points ensure faster maintenance. 

The SE8000 Series comes with a Cat. II semiautomatic linkage for fast coupling. A floating bracket on the third point permits easy control of working depth without stressing the headstock.
